Description

This is an early or mid-19th century terrace house located on Rew Road in Ashburton. The house has rendered walls, likely built upon a stone rubble base, and a hipped slate roof. There are two stone chimneys on the rear wall, with projecting slate courses that form caps. It is a double-fronted, double-depth house, with three storeys and four windows across the front. The windows are 8-paned sashes. A 6-panelled door, with the two bottom panels flush, is centrally positioned in the second bay from the left. A later secondary doorway has been added to the right-hand end bay. A boxed eaves cornice runs along the top of the building.
