Description
Wellington House is a three-storey building with a broad two-window front made of squared rubble, dating from the late 17th century to early 18th century. The structure features a plinth and an off-centre entrance that suggests an early plan form. It has a slate roof and a rubble chimney stack, with the front eaves raised during a later refronting. The building includes sash windows, with six panes on the second floor and marginal glazing bars below. The lintels have weathered keystones. There is a recessed four-panel door with panelled reveals, framed by a Georgian doorcase that may be reused, featuring reeded pilasters and a bracket cornice. Additionally, there is a cellar opening to the right.
