Pemberton Cottage is a 2-storey building with a 2-window front, which has origins that may date back to the 17th century and possibly features timber framing. The exterior is finished in pebbledash with a plinth. It has a slate roof with overhanging eaves and a higher cross range at the right rear, topped with a rubble chimney stack. The first floor has two small-pane casement windows, while below, there is a central tripartite small-pane sash window. The entrance is located to the left and features a bracketed hood, broad grooved pilasters, panelled reveals, and a 4-panel door. To the right, there is a blocked entrance that has a similar raised hood and a horned small-pane sash window.
