Description
The Rose and Crown Public House is a building that likely dates back to the 17th century, featuring a timber frame and early to mid-19th century details. The exterior is roughcast and topped with a steeply-pitched old tile roof. It stands two storeys high and has four windows. On the first floor, there are three 3-light flush casements with glazing bars. The ground floor features two outer canted sash bay windows and a central half-glazed door, which is adorned with a cut bracketed hood, moulded architrave, and a cornice hood. To the left of the door is a multi-light casement window. At the rear, there is a central wing made of 17th-century brick and plaster, which includes a chimney stack near the northern gable.
