Description

No. 24 Church Street is a house that likely dates back to the 16th century, with a floor replacement in the 17th century. The front of the house is made of early 19th-century red brick and was extended to the west in 1902. It features a steeply pitched roof covered with old tiles and a gable end on the west side. There are two first-floor sash windows with segmental heads, while the ground floor has modern windows. The west extension includes half-timbering on the first floor and an oriel window. Inside, there is a fireplace lintel from the 17th century and exposed pargetting on the rear wall of the first floor, also from the 17th century.
