Description
No. 20 Temple Street is a house that was re-fronted in the 19th century but originally dates back to the 17th century, with some remnants of a medieval structure. The exterior walls are now made of brick, including some thin brick, while timber framing can still be seen inside. The roof is tiled and dates from the 20th century, with a brick chimney located to the right. The building has an L-shaped plan and consists of one and a half storeys with two bays, each featuring a small gable. The ground floor has 19th-century sash windows, while the upper floor has 20th-century three-light wooden casements. There is a blocked door in the center, and the left gable displays a cruck truss.
