Description
This is a small house dating from the 17th to early 18th century, and it has been altered since its original construction. The house is built of brick, primarily thin 17th-century brick, with a timber truss visible in the near gable of the central bay. It has old tile roofs and a large chimney stack constructed of thin brick between the far bays. The house is irregular in plan, with a section set at right angles to the road, the near bay being offset to the left. It is one storey and attic in height, with three bays. The gable facing the street has 20th-century casements—a three-light window on the ground floor, a two-light window above, and a two-light window in a lean-to to the right. The centre bay also features a 20th-century paired casement in its near gable. An entrance is located on the right side of the far bay.
