Description
Exchange House is a house built in the late 18th to early 19th century. It features pale chequer brick with a brick plinth, a first-floor band course, and modillion eaves. The roof is tiled and dates from the 20th century, with a brick chimney located on the right side. The building is two storeys high and has two bays. The windows are 20th-century wooden casements with chequered segmental heads, with a three-light window on the ground floor and a two-light window above. There is a central 20th-century door set in a wooden doorcase with a small hood. To the right, there is a projecting block of similar but slightly later construction, which features dentil eaves. The left bay has a two-light casement above a four-light shop window, while the right bay has an entry for a garage.
