Description
This outbuilding, located at the rear of Number 4 on Temple Street in Brill, was originally built as stables in the 17th century and altered in the late 18th century. The ground floor features large semi-dressed stone blocks with thin brick quoins, while the upper section is constructed of thin brick in English bond, topped with late 18th-century moulded brick eaves. The building has a hipped tile roof and consists of two storeys with two bays. The ground floor includes wooden casements, with the right window having a small segmental head made of thin brick. On the upper storey, there is a three-light wooden casement on the right, along with blocked rectangular openings and a hayloft door to the left. The central entrance features a wide board door with a later segmental head. The right side of the building has a ventilation slit and is attached to a single-storey bay from the 19th century, while there is a lean-to on the left.
