Description

Thody's of Welwyn is a house and shop, likely dating from the 17th century, with a brick casing from the 18th century or early 19th century, which is now painted. The east gable end is plastered. It features a steeply pitched old tile roof with an external stack on the west end and a rear lean-to extension. The eaves are adorned with brick dentils. The building has two modern casement windows and a shop on the ground floor. It is included for its group value.
