Description

The Curiosity Shop is a house and shop that dates from the 17th to 18th century, with alterations made in the 19th and 20th centuries. It features a timber frame that is plastered, with 20th-century decorative pargetting, and a grey slate roof. The building has two storeys and a two-window range of 20th-century small paned casements. The ground floor includes bowed shop windows supported by small brackets, and there is a central 20th-century small paned glazed door. A red brick chimney stack is located on the left side of the building. It has been recently restored and is included mainly for its group value.
