Description

Archway Cottage Sharocks is a house that has been converted into two cottages, originally built in the 15th and 16th centuries, with later additions and alterations. The building features exposed timber framing and a long wall jetty, with an extension at the rear and a central cart entrance. It has a plain red tiled roof. On the first floor, there are four square leaded casement windows, while the ground floor has two bays to the right and one casement to the left, all of which are square leaded. The doors are 20th-century plank and muntin style, with steps leading up to the right and left of the archway. The jetty is supported by curved brackets, and there are curved braces on the wall of the first floor.
