Description

Hill House is a 17th-century house with alterations and additions from the 18th century and later. It is timber framed and plastered, with a red plain tiled roof and an eaves cornice. The house has two storeys and a basement to the left. The first floor has a four-window front, while the ground floor has a three-window front. These windows contain small-paned sliding sashes and casements. Two doors are approached by steps with matching moulded pediments and brackets; the left door is four-panelled with two lights, and a 20th-century panelled door is to the right. There are two red brick chimney stacks. Pelmets are present on three first-floor windows. A wing extends to the rear of the property.
