Description

Hillside Maydean is a pair of cottages dating from the late 17th century, with later alterations. They are timber framed and plastered, featuring 20th-century pargetting. The cottages have a half-hipped roof covered with red plain tiles and stand two storeys tall. The first floor has a range of four 20th-century small paned casements, while the ground floor includes three 20th-century small paned bow windows and one matching casement. There are two six-panel doors with flat canopies supported by brackets. The cottages also have one original red brick chimney stack on the right and another on the left.
