Description
Bell House, Sibley House, and Ducketts Butchers Shop are two 19th century houses with a butchers shop on the right, likely originating from a 17th century core. The buildings have a red brick facade featuring decorative Gault brick bands and window arches with red brick keystones. Bell House was originally a public house, recorded in 1756. The return walls are plastered, and the interior is timber framed. The roof is covered with grey slate. The buildings are two storeys high with basements, featuring a six-window range of small paned sliding sashes on the first floor, a four-window range on the ground floor, and three basement vents. There are two board doors. The butchers shop includes a half-light door and a hipped canopy supported by wooden curved brackets, along with some early internal features such as a boarded ceiling.
