Description
White Barns is a house that dates from the 17th century or earlier, with later alterations. It is timber framed and plastered, featuring a plain red tile half-hipped roof. The building has two storeys and an attic. On the first floor, there are two 19th-century three-light casement windows, while on the ground floor, there is a three-light casement window to the left and a bay window to the right. To the left of the entrance, there is a four-panel, two-light door with a flat canopy supported by brackets. A central red brick chimney stack is present. The ground floor windows have square leaded glass. Notably, a collar maker lived in this house in 1802.
