Description
Hillcrest is a house that dates from the early 17th century or earlier, with later alterations and a wing at the rear. It has a timber frame that is plastered with a stonework pattern and features a red plain tile hipped roof. The building has two storeys and a three-bay front with 19th-century four-light half-paned casement windows, along with a two-light casement window above the door. There is a single step leading up to a 19th-century four-panel door, which has two lights and is surrounded by plain pilasters, moulded capitals, a plain frieze, and a moulded canopy. To the left, there is an external chimney stack made of 18th-century red brick, with bases of flint rubble and brick bands. At the rear, there is a 17th-century iron window.
