Description
No 13 Church Street is a house dating from around 1800, featuring a front block made of painted brick and an old tile roof with a dentil eaves cornice. The building is two storeys high with attics and has five flush sash windows, although one on the first floor has been bricked up. The central projection has a pediment and an open pedimented doorcase supported by Doric square wooden piers, with triglyphs, a dentil cornice, and a fanlight with crossed glazing bars. There are three 2-light leaded casement dormers. The rear east wing is 17th century, timber-framed, and has been encased in 18th-century red brick. This wing is also two storeys high, featuring dentilled eaves and an old tile roof, with two casements that have glazing bars.
