Description
No. 20 Greenhill Street is a house dating from the 17th century, with a refronting from around 1800. The building is constructed of painted brick and features a slate roof with a brick end stack. It has two storeys plus an attic and a single-window range. The eaves are plain, and the front of the house breaks back at the right window. The ground floor has a 20th-century shop front with a canted entrance at the angle. On the first floor, there is a three-light window with leaded glazing and a single return light, while the attic features a gabled dormer with a four-pane sash window. Inside, the house reportedly has chamfered beams and exposed timber-framing on both floors.
