Description
The Haywain is a three-storey building with a two-window rubble front, dating from the 19th century. It features a slate roof with flush eaves and a brick chimney stack on the left. The front has horned small pane sash windows that are topped with voussoir lintels. The shop front is plain and slightly overlaps the adjoining property, with pilasters, half-glazed double doors, and a trefoil pierced stallriser.
The left side facing Bull Ring is rendered, while the rear, which faces Market Street, is also three-storey and constructed of rubble. It has small pane windows on the second floor, consisting of one sash and one hopper window. Below, there are sash windows without glazing bars and a half-glazed door that is offset to the left, all featuring voussoir lintels and stone cills.
