Description
The Hay On Wye Post Office is a three-storey building featuring a two-window front made of snecked rubble with freestone dressings. It has a slate roof with wide bracket eaves and a brick chimney stack that is attached to the rubble stack of No 4. The building includes horned four-pane sash windows with stone lintels, situated above a three-bay shop front that has dividing pilasters and a deep entablature. There is a panelled door entrance on the left and top opening casements on the right.
On the right end of the building, there is an exposed chimney breast with the stack removed, and some brick infill is present at the top.
