Description
Clifton House is a Georgian building featuring a symmetrical three-storey façade with two windows, finished in scribed render and accented by end pilaster strips, an eaves band, and a plinth. It has a slate roof topped with an end stone chimney stack. The recessed sash windows are adorned with architraves, with six panes on the second floor and marginal glazing bars below; there is a window box holder at the ground floor. The entrance boasts a central doorcase with a bracketed pediment and a dentil cornice, leading to an eight-panel door, of which the top two panels are glazed. The rear of the building is constructed from rubble and includes wide boarded eaves, sash windows, and a modern extension.
