Description
Ebenezer United Reformed Church is a symmetrical classical building dating from the 19th century. It features a two-story, three-window front made of coursed rubble, with a plinth and pilaster strips that divide each bay. The hipped slate roof has wide boarded eaves and a rubble chimney stack on the left side. The front has arched headed small pane sash windows with voussoirs. Above the arched entrance, there is an eroded tablet, flanked by a panelled architrave and keystones. The entrance consists of double three-panel doors topped with a six-pane fanlight. There are blocked basement openings, and the side elevations are also made of rubble, with the chimney stack removed from the right-hand chimney breast. At the rear, there are twin basement windows.
Inside, the church has a square layout with a gallery at the front and a Gothic timber pulpit.
