No 2 Panteg Villas (Islwyn)

No 2 Panteg Villas is a detached, symmetrical, simple classical building dating from the 19th century. It is two stories high and features a three-window roughcast front, with end pilaster strips and a plinth. The roof is hipped and covered with slate, and the eaves are boarded. There are two chimney stacks made of cement render. The building has 12-pane sash windows set within lugged architraves, each adorned with ornamental keystones. The central entrance is arched and includes an architrave and a similar keystone, leading to a recessed six-panel door topped by a five-pane fanlight. The side walls are plain roughcast, and there is an extension at the rear.
