Description
11 Greenland Terrace is a group of three early 18th-century buildings presenting simple classical frontages. They are built with continuous hipped slate roofs and wide, boarded eaves. The frontages are roughcast to numbers 9 and 11, and pebbledashed to number 10. Numbers 10 and 11 feature rusticated quoins and pilaster strips respectively.
The buildings are three windows wide to numbers 9 and 10, and two windows wide to number 11. The first floor has 12-pane sash windows with lintels to number 9 and lugged architraves with ornamental keystones to numbers 10 and 11. The ground floor has 16-pane sash windows with similar architrave and voussoir detailing. Semi-circular arched entrances are present at each building; number 9 features a 6-panel door with a 5-pane fanlight, number 10 has a later door and an Art Nouveau fanlight, and number 11 has a 4-panel door with a 5-pane fanlight.
Low garden walls are found at the front, built of rubble at number 9, brick at number 10, and rendered at number 11, with rubble and brick gate piers respectively. A boarded door provides access to a side passage to the right.
