Description
Awelon is an end-of-terrace pavilion that is set forward from the adjoining houses on the right. This two-storey building features a basement and has a three-window front that is finished in roughcast with a simple classical style. It has a hipped slate roof and wide boarded eaves. The façade includes 16-pane sash windows with lintels. A projecting porch with a pediment is supported by four tapered columns and has a blocked segmental opening with a pediment above. The entrance consists of a recessed eight-panel door with a five-pane fanlight and panelled reveals.
The left end wall is also roughcast and includes sash windows with glazing bars, along with a boarded basement door. There is a cross range with a slate roof, a rubble chimney stack, and additional sash windows. Beyond this, there is a single-storey extension that has a slate roof, a sash window, and a boarded door with parallel steps.
In front of the building, there is a rubble garden wall with gate piers that feature pyramidal coping stones topped with pineapple finials, along with an iron gate and railings.
