Description
7 Greenland Terrace is a group of simple classical buildings dating from the 19th century. They are two stories high with three-window scribed render frontages and feature end pilaster strips on No 6. The buildings have slate roofs that are hipped at the northeast end, wide boarded eaves, one cement render chimney stack, and two rubble stacks.
On the first floor, there are 12-pane sash windows with voussoir lintels, while No 8 has one modern window. The ground floor features 12-pane sash windows in segmental arched recesses with keystones for No 6, two later splayed bays with lean-to slate roofs and 2-light sash windows for No 7, and 12-pane sash windows with voussoir lintels for No 8.
The entrances are semi-circular arched with recessed doors; No 6 has a modern door with a 5-pane fanlight, No 7 has a modern door with a plain fanlight, and No 8 has a 6-panel door with a 5-pane fanlight.
There are low garden walls with decorative ironwork gates and railings, particularly notable at Nos 7 and 8. Additionally, there is a boarded door within a semi-circular arched recess leading to a side passage on the right.
