Description
Pengarreg Farmhouse is a two-storey building with a basement, featuring a six-window entrance front made of roughcast and topped with a hipped slate roof. The farmhouse has narrow eaves and two cement render chimney stacks, along with one rubble chimney stack that projects with a stepped breast from the right end wall. The windows are 12-pane sash types, and there is an advanced two-storey porch on the left side, which has a flat roof and a Gothick sash window set in a slightly splayed position. To the left on the ground floor, there are 16-pane sash windows flanking a four-centred arch entrance that has a recessed door; to the right, there are 12-pane sash windows and a half-glazed door.
The end walls and rear of the farmhouse are also roughcast, with a plinth that deepens with the slope. The first floor has five windows, while the ground floor has four, all of which are 12-pane sash windows. There is a single-storey rubble outbuilding located forward from the northeast gable end.
The front of the property features courtyards that are divided by a rubble wall, bounded by rubble walls, and accessed through gate piers topped with finials.
