Description

Park Farmhouse is an early 18th-century farmhouse with attached farm buildings on either side, one of which has been converted into a dwelling. The farmhouse is rendered with a slate roof and a rendered stack. It is two storeys high with attics, and has two windows. The windows feature iron casements with small panes and Gothic glazing bars, and stone sills. A broad, six-panel door is centrally placed within an added porch. The farmhouse has heavily moulded first and second-floor bands. A centrally-placed stack rises from the ridge. An attic window in the gable has Gothic glazing bars. The side wings are long and low, set back from the main house. The right wing was formerly a cheeseroom and is now part of the dwelling, with inserted openings having cambered heads. The left wing remains a farm building with two rectangular openings and small, inserted windows at the angle with the main house. The interior includes an altered inglenook and ovolo moulded beams. Ground floor windows have square sunk panels with wooden shutters.
