Description
The barn at Manor Farm is a structure dating from the late 16th century or early 17th century, with later additions. It features a timber frame with brick nogging set on a stone plinth. The west and south walls are made of stone, and the roof is tiled. The barn consists of two bays, with an entrance that is roughly central, leading into the right-hand bay. There are two rectangular openings on the upper floor. The gable wall, constructed of stone, has evenly spaced air vents, while the gable itself is made of brick. The east wall displays brick nogging made of thin bricks. The central roof truss has trenched purlins above the bay, supported by braces on a timber cill.
