Description

Glebe Farmhouse is a probably early 18th-century farmhouse constructed of brown brick with slate roofs. It is two storeys high, with gable attics. The front elevation features four unequally spaced camber-headed casement windows. A door has moulded panels below a four-light rectangular fan. A moulded brick band sits below the cornice, with a plain band at the first floor, continuing across the right-hand gable, which incorporates two blind camber-headed windows and a small attic casement. Plain brick piers are located at each end of the gable and at the front. A brick stack is positioned at the rear of the roof slope, behind the entrance. Access to the interior has not been possible. A shippon is attached to the left end, dating mainly to the mid-19th century and not considered of particular interest; it has a red brick, slate roof, three camber-headed openings, one rectangular window, and four air vents.
