It is made of buff sandstone and features a circular nosed base that supports a turned bulbous baluster topped with a moulded square capstone. The sundial has a square bronze plate and gnomon, which bears a worn inscription that reads "Jos. Moulsdale, Th. Chamberlane, Churchwardens 1730."
