Description

Talbot House is an early 19th century building of simple classical design. It is two storeys high with a basement, and is constructed of roughcast. The front has a plinth, a slate roof, and a brick chimney stack. A recessed nine-pane sash window sits on the second floor, featuring a fluted keystone. Below this are a pair of eight-pane sash windows, and to the right, a six-panel door with a fanlight above it. An attic window is visible on the roughcast left end wall. The rear of the building is roughcast and features a two-storey and attic cross gable. It has sash windows and a roughcast chimney stack.
