Description
10 Bridge Street is a two-storey, three-window building of rendered construction, dating from the late Georgian period. The building occupies the left-hand bay of a wider block. It has a slate roof and three brick chimney stacks. The ground floor of the left-hand section, number 10, features recessed small-pane sash windows, alongside a late Georgian doorcase with reeded pilasters. The doorcase frames a recessed modern six-panel door and a three-pane fanlight, and is flanked by recessed sixteen-pane windows and a twelve-pane sash window. The first floor has recessed small-pane sash windows. The right-hand gable end is roughcast. The rear elevation of number 10 is constructed from whitewashed rubble, while the rear of number 11 has modern rendering. The interior of number 11 retains a contemporary roof featuring a king post truss, and Gothic openings to the ground floor.
