Dolau Aeron

Dolau Aeron is a 2-storey house with an irregular L-plan, constructed from partly coursed rubble that was originally roughcast. It features slate roofs with oversailing eaves and has brick and rendered chimney stacks, although the original stacks, as seen in early photographs, have been removed. The house has a gable-ended short range that projects at the northern end, adorned with ornamental bargeboards.

The central part of the north side, which faces the garden, is set back and includes a later 19th-century 2-storey roughcast bay window to the left, featuring a cross gable and similar bargeboards. The windows throughout have cross-frame glazing, with glazing bars on the two-window west side, an offset Gothick-headed staircase window on the northwest gable end, and a similar window on the first floor of the north side bay window. The ground floor has French windows, and voussoir lintels are present above the openings. There are blocked windows on the east and south sides, likely due to the addition of the bay window in the late 19th century.

A pointed arched entrance is located at the southeast angle, featuring a Gothick half-glazed door, with an additional entrance at the rear on the south side. The property is enclosed on the east side by a rubble boundary wall that includes an inset 4-panel door and fanlight. The interior has various levels, with the eastern side being higher, reflecting different periods of construction.
