Description
11 Albert Street is a group of two-storey buildings featuring roughcast scribed render and cement render fronts. They have plinths, end pilaster strips, and rusticated quoins, topped with slate roofs. There are two rubble and two rendered chimney stacks, and the buildings have wide boarded eaves. The three fronts are of equal length, with the western two subdivided.
No 10 has three windows, No 11 has one window, and No 12, 13A, and 13 each have two windows. All windows are sash with glazing bars: No 10 has 12-pane windows on both the first and ground floors, while No 12, 13A, and 13 have 16-pane windows on the ground floor. All windows feature lugged architraves and keystones. No 11 has a bay window on the ground floor with an advanced cornice.
The doorways also have lugged architraves and keystones, with No 10 featuring panels, while No 11 has a plain additional doorway. Nos 10 and 11 have half-glazed doors, and Nos 12 and 13 (including No 13A) have six-panel doors. The right end wall is plain scribed render, and there is an extension to the rear that is not of special interest.
