Description
D.N. Stores is a 2-storey building with a 3-window rendered front, dating from the late Georgian period. It features a slate roof that is hipped at the right end, with bracketed eaves and cement render chimney stacks. The first floor and the left side of the ground floor have recessed tripartite sash windows. The shop front is classical in style, with a plain fascia beneath an egg and dart cornice, paired pilasters at the ends, a tiled stallriser, and a splayed entrance that includes half-glazed doors. To the left, there is a late Georgian doorcase with pilasters, panelled reveals, and a soffit above a 6-panel door, which is topped by a 4-pane fanlight.
