Description
5 High Street is a short, two-storey terrace building. The front features an uneven four-window roughcast design for the Bar and a two-window scribed stucco front for No 5. The roof is undulating and covered with slate, and there is a roughcast chimney stack. The windows primarily consist of small pane sash glazing. The shop front for No 5, which dates from the later 19th century, has a splayed entrance. The Bar has an end pilaster strip, a cill band, and a plinth. The outer ground floor windows are adorned with cambered architraves that include keystones, and there is a tripartite window next to a pedimented architrave leading to a four-panel door.
