Description
2 Russell Street is a two-storey building with a four-window front, featuring one pair of windows. The exterior is partly whitewashed rubble and partly roughcast, and it may have been heightened in the 18th century. The building has two slate roofs, with a taller apex on the rear cross range, and two brick stacks located at the front left and rear right.
The windows include various two and three-light metal frame casements, along with one four-pane sash window. There is an eight-pane shop front that has a bracketed hood. The entrance to No 1 features a panelled and glazed door, while No 2 has a recessed panelled door. At the rear, there are three-storey twin gabled extensions that have casement windows with cambered heads and modern glazing.
The building also has plain bargeboards and wide eaves.
