Description
Mandarin House, a Chinese take-away, is a three-storey building with a basement. The front is finished in cement render, while the right gable end is made of brick and the left gable end features brick and rubble. It has a slate roof with boxed eaves and plain bargeboards, along with brick stacks at the ends. There is a band course above the ground floor. The building has three windows, with paired casements on the second floor and 16-pane sash windows under cambered heads on the first floor. The ground floor features a double shop front with a hood supported by curved brackets, a recessed entrance with a glazed and timber door, and a gated entrance on the right side. To the left, there is a single-storey and attic extension with roughcast walls, a stone plinth, and a slate roof.
