Description

The building at 45 Market Street is a two-storey, two-window structure with a white-rendered front, complemented by a later, one-window cross range to the left. It has a slate roof and brick stacks at the rear left. The roofline features plain bargeboards and wide eaves, particularly noticeable on the cross gable and the gable end to the right. This gable end also has a boarded jetty at eaves level. First-floor windows are of varying types and have deep reveals. The cross range includes a shop front on the ground floor with a six-pane display window covered by a hood supported on curved brackets. A half-glazed door is set at an angle, while a boarded door sits in the centre. To the left, there’s a further gable with a similar shop front.
