Description
1 Russell Street is a two-storey building with a four-window front, featuring a pair of windows. The exterior is partly whitewashed rubble and partly roughcast, and it may have been heightened in the 18th century. The building has two slate roofs, with a taller apex on the rear cross range, and two brick end stacks located at the front left and rear right.
The windows include various two and three-light metal frame casements, as well as one four-pane sash window. There is an eight-pane shop front with a bracketed hood, and the entrance to No 1 consists of a panelled and glazed door, while No 2 has a recessed panelled door. At the rear, there are three-storey twin gabled extensions that feature casement windows with cambered heads and modern glazing.
The building is finished with plain bargeboards and wide eaves.
