Description
Adrian Hicks & Son is a two-storey building with three windows, featuring a roughcast exterior on a rubble base and a plinth. It has a steeply pitched modern tile roof with plain eaves and an original tall brick stack at the left end. The first floor has twelve-pane sash windows that are equidistant but offset to the left, with plain reveals, stone sills, and stop-chamfered timber lintels.
The ground floor showcases a 19th-century shop front with a continuous hood and fascia, supported by console brackets and plain pilasters. There is a central door case with a six flush panel door and a shallow rectangular fanlight above it. To the left, there is a three-light window with a modern blind box, while the right side features a boarded window. Inside, there are transverse ceiling beams.
