3 Old Market Street

3 Old Market Street is a two-storey building constructed with whitewashed roughcast on a rubble base. It features a steeply pitched asbestos slate roof with plain eaves and has no chimneys.

On the first floor, there are three Victorian sash windows, each with plaster architraves and stone sills. One of these windows belongs to No.2, while the other two are part of No.3.

The ground floor showcases 19th-century shop fronts with a continuous hood. The central doorway to No.3 has a modern door and a shallow three-light rectangular fanlight above it. To the right, there is a large six-pane shop window, flanked by pilasters with brackets. On the left, adjoining the doorway, is an eight-pane giant sash window that serves as a shop window, featuring modern top lights on the outer panes of the top sash. The shop front for No.2 has been modernized, but retains the flanking pilasters and brackets; however, both the door and window have been updated.

Inside, the building has cased transverse ceiling beams. There is a rear wing that is likely from the later 19th century.
