Description

The Rafa Club is a two-storey building with a basement, dating from 1837. It features three rendered fronts and roughcast quoins, topped by a hipped slate roof with wide eaves and two brick stacks at the ends. Each front has two windows, although some openings are blocked. The upper floor on the south side has 12-pane sash windows with plain reveals. On the north side, there is a shop front that includes a plain cornice and pilasters on the sides, along with a recessed door. The south side has a pedimented doorpiece on curved brackets, also with a recessed door. A date plaque on the west side indicates the year of construction as 1837.
