Description

The Coach Chambers is a three-storey building dating from the 19th century. It features lined-out render with painted angle quoins and dressings over a brick structure, topped by a slate roof that has gable end and rear wall stacks. The front facade, facing Church Street, has a three-window range with the entrance located to the left of the center. The entrance consists of a deep moulded six-panelled door, which is sheltered by a leaded canopy hood supported by brackets. The ground and first floor windows are 12-pane sashes with painted flat arched heads. There are similar windows on the right-hand gable return and at the rear elevation, which also includes a first-floor doorway situated to the left of the chimney stack.
