Description
Bryn Clwyd is a building featuring a 2-bay main range with a gabled cross-wing aligned to the left. The structure is rendered, with stone on the ground floor and brick on the upper floor, all beneath a slate roof. There is a brick stack at the left end and an adjoining stone stack with a brick shaft rising from a low projection on the right.
At the center, there is an old panelled door with upper panels that have cusped heads, topped by a 4-centred-arched fan-light with gothic glazing bars. A gabled porch canopy supported by brackets shelters the entrance. The building has late 20th-century small-pane wooden glazing, primarily in casement style. To the left, there is a 2-light window with top-hung panes beneath a segmental head, while to the right, a large 4-light window has replaced a former shop front.
On the upper storey, there are two gabled half-dormers, one to the left and one in the center, each containing 2-light casements. The gable on the right features a 3-light window under a segmental head. Bryn Clwyd adjoins No 22 on the left, and the rear of the building has not been seen. The interior has also not been observed.
