Description
H.J. & D. Webb & Sons is a late Georgian building that stands three stories tall and features a six-window facade made of stucco, with part of the front being scribed. The central section is curved and advanced, topped with a pediment. The roof is slate and higher on the left side, with a brick chimney stack located on the rear pitch. A plain facetted pediment is present to conceal the roof junction. The building has a deep eaves band and cornice, although the cornice is missing on the left side. There are cill bands with console brackets supporting the two central second-floor windows. The windows are recessed sash glazing, with six panes on the second floor and twelve panes on the first floor, featuring moulded architraves at the center. The right side has modern windows (No 11). The overall shop fronts have been altered but still include recessed entrances on both the left and right sides, a plain fascia, and broad pilasters, with part of the cornice removed.
