Description
The Cambrian Arms Hotel is an L-plan building dating from around 1800, with later alterations from the 19th century. It is two stories high and features a two-window front made of scribed cement render, accented by end pilaster strips, cill bands, and plinths. The left wing has a polygonal southeast end. The building is topped with slate roofs that have oversailing eaves that sweep out to the base, and it has brick chimney stacks. The windows are sash style, mostly with 12 panes and tripartite sashes on the right wing, and there are panelled and half-glazed doors. The right end wall is plain, and there are former stables and a coach house located at the rear in the yard, which can be accessed through boarded gates.
