Description
The quay wall and bollards are a retaining wall made of stone laid in courses, featuring squared coping stones set on edge. The wall extends westward to the flight of steps that includes iron gates at Island Wharf, with a double flight of steps located in front of the Jolly Tar Public House. Embedded in the coping of the quay wall are approximately 33 fluted, tapering iron bollards topped with ball finials and threaded with iron chain railings. These bollards were made by the Priory Foundry in Carmarthen.
